Karen’s Raw Superfood Smoothie!
Need a delicious new smoothie recipe for the summer? How about another recipe for the spinach in this month’s Fresh Picks Raw Box? Here’s another one of Karen Malkin’s incredible smoothie recipes that will satisfy your palette and nourish your body!
Karen’s Superfood Smoothie
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Yield: 1 serving
Ingredients:
10 ounces of filtered water
2 scoops MCT lean Vegan Protein Blend Vanilla
1 teaspoon raw cacao nibs
1 TBSP raw goji berries
1 TBSP hemp seed
1 TBSP flaxseed
1 TBSP chia seed
1/4 raw beet cut up
1/2 cup frozen organic mixed berries
1 handful raw dark leafy greens such as spinach, kale, chard or mustard greens
1 TBSP MCTlean MCT oil or coconut oil
Ice as needed
Instructions:
- Using a Vitamix or high power blender, add 2 scoops MCTlean Vegan Protein Blend to 10 ounces cold filtered water and blend.
- Add cacao nibs, goji berries, maca and blend.
- Add greens, raw beets, frozen berries and blend.
- Add hemp seed, chia seed, flaxseed (A.K.A. Karen’s Superseed Medley) and
blend - Add MCTlean MCT oil coconut oil, and blend
- Add ice, as needed, blend until smooth
- Enjoy!!!
